A Case of Acute Posterior Multifocal Placoid Pigment Epitheliopathy with Atypical Features

Göztepe Eğitim Hastanesi Göz Hastalıkları Kliniği, İstanbul, Prof. Dr. We report the progression and FFA, İCG, OCT III findings of a 45 years old case with acute posterior multifocal placoid pigment epitheliopathy (APMPPE) with atypical features which were unilaterality and macular detachment .The presence of high-intensity reflectivity from the inner retinal layer in the OCT scan suggests the probability of existence of APMPPE cases with atipical features in which besides RPE and the outer nuclear layer, the inner retinal layers are also involved.
