A Rare Sign of Anemic Retinopathy: Premacular Sub-Internal Limiting Membrane Hemorrhage

Anemic retinopathy is a rare clinical entity usually characterized with flame-shaped or white-centered intraretinal hemorrhages, subhyaloid or vitreous hemorrhage, vascular dilatation and tortuosity, cotton-wool spots and disc edema. We hereby report a patient with premacular sub-internal limiting membrane hemorrhage as an unusual presentation of anemic retinopathy and discuss treatment alternatives.
