A Case of Bilateral Diabetic Macular Edema with Asymmetrical Presentation

A pseudophacic patient with bilateral macular edema secondary to type 2 diabetes was treated with intravitreal steroid during the first years of treatment. Although the response of macular edema to treatment was good in one eye, frequent recurrences and retreatment was required in the fellow eye. Herein, the clinical presentation of the patient who was followed for 4 years is described.
