Retinal Vein Occlion Treated with Intravitreal Dexamethasone in A Patient with Ulcerative Colitis

4M.D. Professor, Ulucanlar Eye Training and Research Hospital, Ankara/TURKEY Ulcerative colitis, which is thought to be associated with an increased risk of venous thrombosis, should be kept in mind as a rare underlying cause of central retinal vein occlusion especially in young adult patients. We hereby report a 36-year-old patient with ulcerative colitis who was admitted with macular edema secondary to central retinal vein occlusion on his left eye and discuss the complications encountered during treatment period.
