A cavernous hemangioma which emanate from retina, optic disc or both is a rare, congenital and benign vascular hamartom. It has an appearance of darkish, grape-like shape which is made from aneurysms in the sensorial retina. Vascular lesions range from minimal to 10-15 mm size vascular clump. It is usually unilateral and it seldom expands. It may cause decline in the visual acuity and blurring of the vision because of macular involvement, vitreous hemorrhagia and preretinal fibrosis but most of the patients are asymptomatic. Hemorrhagia may be seen under the retina, in the retina and surface of the retina. İntraretinal and subretinal exudation usually doesn't accompany with the lesion. Genetical transition has been reported that autosomal dominant. Especially cases which has central nervous system and skin hemagiomas has 7th chromosome mutation. Also retinal hemangioma cases usually don't accompany with any sendrom. Vascular pouch which has a large lumen , thin vessel wall and normal endothelial cells can be seen in histopatologic specimens. In this article a cavernous hemangioma case which emanate from optic disc and OCT and FFA of this case are being presented. Keywords : Cavernous hemangioma, hamartoma, optical disc, retina, tumor
