Intravitreal Bevacizumab Injection for Choroidal Neovascularization in Serpiginous Choroidit

Serpiginous choroiditis is a recurrent inflammatory disease of unknown etiology that affects the retinal pigment epithelium and inner layers of the choroid. Choroidal neovascular membrane may develop in up to 35% of patients during the course of the disease. In this article, we describe a 29 years old female patient with serpiginous choroiditis who developed a choroidal neovascular membrane and present the course of the disease in long-term, after the treatment with intravitreal bevacizumab injection.
