In this review article, critical issues in cases with the traumatized eye and no light perception (NLP) are evaluated in the light of recent literature and the regard of author?s clinical experience. It should be kept in mind that an eye with NLP might gain LP vision after primary repair and approppriate medical and surgical methods. Evisceration/enucleation should be considered only for irreparable eyes with NLP. In addition, visual gain might be obtained in these eyes with the help of advanced vitreoretinal surgical techniques applied in a timely manner. Keywords : Trauma, no light perception, management, vitreoretinal surgery
