A Rare Case of Choroidal Neovascular Membrane Following Macular Hole Surgery

Dr., Ulucanlar Göz Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi, Göz Hastalıkları ve Cerrahisi, Ankara - TÜRKİYE Choroid neovascular membrane (CNVM) is formed by the growth of new blood vessels which grow from the choroid through Bruch?s membrane into the beneath and the inner layers of the retina related with various diseases which affect the retinal pigment epithelium, Bruch?s membrane and choriocapillaris complex. In this article, the CNVM that developed after approximately 4 months from surgery in the patient who underwent uncomplicated vitreoretinal surgery due to primary macular hole in our clinic is discussed.
