Primary persistant hyperplastic vitreous associating with morning glory syndrome was diagnosed in a 22 year-old male admitted to our clinic for a low vision complaint on his left eye since early childhood. Co-existance of these two developmental disorders suggest a failure in a common embryogenic step. The clinical characteristics of this very rare condition should be considered in differantial diagnosis and treatment.
