A 9-year-old male presented with blurred vision in the right eye with varying position. Anterior segment examination was normal. Cystic formation was observed posterior to the lens. The cyst swam in the vitreous and displaced position. B scan USG in left eye showed cystic, well-defi ned, rounded, non-fi xated, and 4 mm diameter formation. When assessed with anterior segment OCT, the cyst confi rmed a thin, well-defi ned cyst wall with a hyporefl ective lumen. There were small hyperrefl ective dots in the cyst. Vitreous cysts were considered. Vitreous cysts represent an uncommon condition and are usually incidental clinical fi ndings. This condition has been seen to occur in younger patients of 6?8 years old.across the whole range of adults, although it is seen mostly from 10 to 20 years of age. The numbers and positioning of such cysts include single monolateral, single bilateral, and multiple monolateral. Their dimensions can range from 0.15mm to 12 mm, with shapes described as spherical, oval, and/ or lobulated, while the surface can be smooth or sharp. Cysts can have a yellow-gray (nonpigmented) or brown (pigmented) appearance. In symptomatic patients, the treatment options include laser photocystotomy or pars plana vitrectomy with cyst excision. It is very important to recognize vitreous cysts that are very rare and to implement possible treatments in order to prevent unnecessary treatments. Keywords : Cysts, rare, vitreus
