MACULA IN BIRDSHOT RETINOCHOROIDOPATHY, SERPIGINOUS CHOROIDOPATHY AND ACUTE MULTIFOCAL PLACOID PIGMENT EPITHELIOPATHY

Birdshot retinochoroidopathy, serpiginous choroidopathy and acute posterior multifocal pigment epitheliopathy are rarely seen disorders, which are bilateral and characterized by typical lesions located especially at the posterior pole and macula. They are the inflamatory diseases of RPE and choroidea of unknown etiology thought to develop as a result of immunologically based vasculitis in genetically predisposed people.In this study, clinical, ophtalmological and angiographical sign, etiopathogenesis and treatment modalities in Birdshot retinochoroidopathy, serpiginous choroidopathy and acute posterior multifocal placoid pigment epitheliopathy are presented.
