Early postoperative complications were corneal edema (n=10, 8.7%), grefon edema (n=1, 0.9%), residual cortex (n=1, 0.9%), vitreous hemorrhage (n=4, 3.5%), minimal cataract (n=6, 5.2%), advanced cataract (n=6, 5.2%), minimal retinal detachment (n=5, 4.3%), choroidal detachment (n=3, 2.6%), increased intraocular pressure (n=29, 25.2%), fibrinous reaction (n=10, 8.7%), lens zonule rupture (n=1, 0.9%), retinal incarceration (n=2, 1.7%), formation of perisilicone membrane (n=1, 0.9%) and neovascular glaucoma (n=2, 1.7%).
