An analysis of reproducibility of opthalmic artery (OA) and central retinal artery (CRA) blood flow velocities, resistivity and pulsatility indices recorded by color doppler imaging was attempted in this study. In 21 patients OA and in 19 patients CRA were studied. Maximum systolic velocity (Vmax), minimum end diastolic velocity (Vmin), Pourcelot index (RI) and Pulsatility index (PI) were measured three times by the same radiologist, and then coefficient of variation for each parameter was calculated. The coefficients of Vmax, Vmin, RI and PI were 9.8%, 13.6%, 4.5%, 10.3% for OA and 10.7%, 19.8%, 6.3%, and 16.5% for CRA respectively. The RI was found to be the most reproducible parameter for both OA and CRA and the reproducibility of all parameters were superior for OA than for CRA. Keywords : Color doppler imaging, maximum systolic velocity, minimum end diastolic velocity, Pourcelot index, Pulsatiliv index, coefficient of variation
