İ.Ü. Cerrahpaşa Tıp Fakültesi Göz Hast. AD. Using fluorescein angiography and indocyanine green videoangiography in 148 eyes the florescense charecteristics of age related macular degeneration were evaluted. 45 (%30) eyes were in form of nonneovascular age related macular degeneration and %67 of them showed choroidal hypofluorescence related to large and conluent drusen areas. Eight eyes of 103 (%70) neovascular age related macular degeneration had serous pigment epithelial detachment (FED) and on ICG-V focal areas of neovascularization were noted in 2 (%25) under FED. Of the 103 eyes 22 (%21) had well defined neovascularis'ation, 73 (%71) occult choroidal neovascularization. Of the 73 eyes with occult CNV 12 (%12) had vascularized FED, in 61 (%59) eyes there were no FED with CNV. The size of neovascularization were more than of one disc area in most eyes. Keywords : Fluorescein angiography, İndocyanine green videoangiography, age related macular degeneration
