Endophytic Optic Disc Angioma
9 Eylül Üniv. Tıp Fak. Göz Hastalıkları AD.
Endophytic optic disc angiomas which are usually unilateral and clinically asymptomatic are extremely rare vascular hamartomas and they can be a subtle component of von Hippel-Lindau syndrome. We hereby describe the clinical and angiografic features of two cases with optic disc angioma and underline the charactheristics of this entity. Though one of our patients had also a retinal angioma that was treated succesfully with laser photocoagulation, no complication related to optic disc angioma has been noticed during the course of follow up.
