Gazi Üniv. Tıp Fak. Göz Hastalıkları AD. Peripheral retinal inflammations can be observed in intermediate uveitis, systemic and primary vasculitis cases, and choroidopathies with unknown etiology. Peripheral retina is also affected in the diseases of posterior retina and more rarely, anterior segment.. In this review clinical features, diagnosis, differential diagnosis and treatment of diseases which cause peripheral retinal inflammations are discussed with special emphasis on pars planitis cases.
