2Dokuz Eylül Üniv. Tıp Fakl. Halk Sağ. ve İstatistik AD., İzmir Purpose: To investigate Farnsworth-Munsell 100 Hue (FM 100 Hue) test scores according to age distribution in healthy Turkish population.
Materials and Methods: In this study, FM 100 Hue test was performed in 180 healthy inviduals who comprised to six age groups. In addition, effect of gender, education level, boring level of test and refraction on the test was investigated. Results were compared with previous related studies.
Results: The best performance on FM 100 Hue test was achieved in third decade. The error scores increased significantly with the age. The total error scores were higher in right eye than in left eyes in all age groups. Gender and corrected refraction errors didn't change the outcome in FM 100 Hue test. However, education and boring level of test affected the results.
Conclusion: The outcome in the present study gives clinicians a solid base to estimate the scores in their patients.
