3İstanbul Retina Enstitüsü Şti., İstanbul, Prof. Dr. A 56 years old woman with ethambutol associated visual loss underwent mfERG examination before and 4 months after discontinuation of ethambutol. P1 amplitudes and P1 implicit times were also compared with age-matched controls. The P1 amplitudes were significantly lower in the ethambutol treated case than the control group, and there was significant amplitude improvements at 4 mounts after discontinuation of ethambutol. This case report supports, that ethambutol could be toxic to the retina, as well as the optic nerve. Keywords : Ethambutol, multifocal electroretinograph, visual loss
