Second surgery can be needed since silicon oil remnants in optic axes affect visual acuity of subjects. In the postoperative term, we detected silicon oil ‘sticky phenomenon’ of two cases on posterior capsule and fovea. Reoperation was refused by the patients and two months later, silicon remnants (drops) were spontaneously released and their visual disturbances recovered in follow-up period.
