An Unusual Form of Central Serous Chorioretinopathy: Ooze Sign
1Zonguldak Karaelmas Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Göz Hastalıkları AD.2Ankara Numune Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi, 3. Göz Kliniği Most eyes with typical forms of central serous chorioretinopathy (CSR) undergo spontaneous resolution in 3-4 months without visual disturbance. However, some rare forms progress into chronic state with retinal pigment epithelial atrophy resulting with poor visual prognosis. These atrophic retinal pigment epithelial areas form a vertical tract extending to the inferior retina and may lead to bullous retinal detachments located inferiorly due to displacement of the serous fluid. This appearance may cause confusion in the diagnosis and treatment. We here present clinical and angiographic (fluorescein and indocyanin green) features of an atypical case of CSR.
