Amsler Chart and FM 100-Hue Color Test Changes In Patients With Late Stage Central Serous Chorioretinopathy
SB Ankara Hastanesi Göz Kliniği
Thirty five patients with central serous chorioretinopathy (CSCR) diagnosed with clinical and flourosein angiographic findings were evaluated retrospectively. The tests were done in twenty patients in their latest follow up and none of them had serous retinal detachment. The visual acuities were 10/10 in all of the patients. In Amsler grid examination, 3 patients had micropsia but none had central scotoma or metamorphopsia. Color vision was tested with FM 100-Hue test. Total and partial error scores, especially of blue-yellow axis were significantly high in CSCR group when compared with healthy eye. This difference was statistically significant (p<0.01, p<0.001 respectively). It must be kept in mind that in patients with CSCR even though the visual acuity may return back to normal, color vision defects especially at blue-yellow axis may persist and cause subjective symptoms.
