Prof. Dr., Cerrahpaşa Tıp Fakültesi Gözz Hastalıkları Anabilim Dalı, Cerrahpaşa - İstanbul The management of retinopathy of prematurity is basically a combination peripheral ablative treatment/anti-vegf therapy for early stages and vitreous surgery fort the later stages of retinopathy of prematurity. Adequate treatment can achieve good anatomical and functional results. The smaller size of infant eyes results in diff erences in surgical landmarks, relative instrument size and fl uid dynamics of vitreous surgery in addition to increased vitreous adhesion.
