Photodynamic Therapy For Choroidal Neovascularization Secondary to Choroidal Osteoma

Choroidal osteoma is a benign ossifying tumor of the choroid. It is typically found in healty young females. Choroidal neovascularization is the major cause of visual loss in choroidal osteoma. In this case report, effective treatment with photodynamic therapy of a choroidal neovascular membrane secondary to unilateral choroidal osteoma which had a recurrence after argon laser treatment in a 43 year-old woman, is described.
